Ghostly Swim by various artists: 9.2/10

Adult Swim has always given me a sense of nostalgia...well, not always. I think I'd be kind of freaked out if the first time I watched it, adult swim warranted a sense of nostalgia, but that's beside the point.  Adult swim is one of those things that you can always chill to while watching, something you can always fall back on and know that it'll catch you with it's comforting melodies and minimalistic black screens, entertaining you with the highest brow comedy you could find anywhere.  No sarcasm, try finding stuff of that quality watching Carlos Mencia.  Actually, don't try, I don't want to scar you for life.

So, that being said, it's no surprise that they'd release a few albums of all that comforting background noise that you always took for granted, that noise that made you the chillest of chill, and you could just sit back, chillin' and killin', letting the warm, comforting glow of the television screen wash away your loneliness. Well, this album is that background noise, for you to focus your full attention on and reflect on those hazy times, glazed by the erosion of time that acts as a sort of filter on your imagination.  A filter that lets you see those times in a positive light for the first time, those times you took for granted while wallowing in your own sadness.
Well maybe that's just me, and I'm biased, but this is my review, so step off.  There's not much to say, it's hard to describe something that you just let wash over you, putting you into a state of relaxation with it's ethereal, hip hoppy beats and soothing melodies.  Experience it for yourself, I'm recommending it to you, and giving it the generous rating of 9.2 should be motive enough for you to at least give it a try.  Ghostly swim feels exactly how it sounds, it takes you a few steps back from reality and lets you enjoy the severance from your real life burdens and predispositions.
Being a compilation album, I'd rather not go into the personal histories of every artist on here, but if you hear something you like, go exploring.  Maybe you'll experience something unexpected.
